Fiberlay Biaxial Cloth is constructed with a combination of high tensile strength from 2 lays of unidirectional roving with differing layer orientations and weight. The standard bias material has a 90 degree layer orientation while the double bias cloth as a +/-45 degree orientation and a chopped strand mat backing which improves bonding characteristics. This material is ideal for use in applications where high performance characteristics are needed such as high performance laminates and fiberglass repairs.
