Mustang HIT Inflatable PFDs with Sailing Harnesses feature Hysrostatic Inflator Technology (HIT) and an integrated safety harness that is designed for sailing in severe weather. The HIT automatically inflates under water pressure and is enclosed in a protective interior bladder for corrosion protection. The exterior of each PFD has a neoprene comfort collar, SOLAS reflective tape, SecureZipTM closure and includes a safety whistle and strobe light. They have a backup oral inflation tube.

USCG has changed their labeling from USCG approved Type Codes (Type I through Type V) to USCG/Transport Canada Approved Performance Levels. These new labels are currently being phased in and your new life jacket may have the new or old labels during this period. The new label does not make the old labels obsolete.
