The Zoleo Satellite Communicator extends smartphone messaging coverage while out of cell coverage. This 2-way device uses Iridium satellite network to send and receive messages, emails and SOS alerts. This unit has a check-in button that sends a message, with or without GPS coordinates, to pre-selected contacts to let them know everything is OK. It also has a SOS button if there is an emergency that sends the SOS and GPS coordinates to GEOS, a 24/7 monitoring/dispatch partner, and allows the user to communicate with GEOS until help arrives. The SOS button is covered to prevent false alarms. Other features include a long lasting rechargeable battery, mini USB port and dust-, shock- and water-resistant construction. Requires Zoleo app for use.
