The Makita Cordless "Bare Tool" 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Random Orbit Sander has one-touch, 3-speed settings for the user to match speed to the application and a pad brake that reduces free-spin and helps to improve the overall finish. It also has through-the-pad dust collection system and is dust-sealed for motor and internal component protection. This tool is equipped with START Protection Computer Controls that exchanges data with a Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries with a Star Symbol in real time to protect against over-loading, over-discharge and over-heating. It is equipped with a oversized sealed-ball bearings and uses 5", 8-hole hook-and-loop abrasive paper. Lithium Ion battery sold separately.
