18v LXT COMPACT DRILL DRIVER KIT

The Makita Cordless 18V Lithium Ion 1/2" Driver-Drill Kit features a compact driver-drill tool with a mechanical 2-speed transmission for a range of drilling and fastening applications. The BL brushless motor produces 440 in.lbs. of max torque and is electronically controlled and runs cooler for efficient battery life. This tool features Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) which provides increased dust and water resistance and a compact body with a soft grip. Other features include built-in dual LED lights, all metal gears and Star Protection Computer Controls to protect against overloading, over-discharging and over-heating.

The 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Batteries feature Star Protection Computer Controls to exchange data in real time to protect against over-loading, over-discharge and over-heating. It also resists self-discharge and features an integrated LED battery charge level for monitoring the charge. The Single Port Rapid Optimum Charger communicates with the battery's built in chip to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature. The charger is also equipped with a built-in fan to circulate air for a faster charge time.
