Trinidad Tackle Anchovy Baitfish Heads are created for using whole baitfish such as anchovies. When fishing with this rig, the user will slide his or her hook down 5 to 6 inches away from the head, place the head of the baitfish snugly into the cavity of the head, ensuring the back of the bait is on the same side as the leader exit hole. Then the user can insert the plastic pin into the back hole. If necessary a toothpick can be used in the smaller hole. Then the hook can be inserted into the side of the bait below the trailing edge of the dorsal fine, just slightly above the line separating the silver belly from the dark back. Then a curve can carefully be pulled into the bait, which will help cause the bait to roll during trolling.
