This shear stable fluid resists viscosity breakdown in the presence of heavy mechanical stress, high temperature, and high pressure. It is designed for use as a hydraulic power transfer fluid where vane, piston, and gear pumps are utilized, and can also be used as multi-purpose shop lubricant in applications such as lightly loaded air compressors, and as an air-line lubricant.
