Mirka BaseCut Sanding Pads are designed for dry sanding and feature a stearate coating to minimize clogging and loading. These pads make an aggressive initial cut and are ideal for a variety of applications including wood, composites and more: coarser grits recommended for sanding of putty and removing lacquer and finer grits suitable for dry sanding of surfaces with primer and lacquer. They have resin over resin bonding with aluminum oxide abrasive, semi-open coating and B, C and D weight backings.
