The Bosch 18V CORE18V Battery Performance Starter Kit features a CORE18V 8.0 Ah performance battery and dual mode fast charger. The battery provides twice the power and runtime of standard 2-layer 4.0 Ah 18V batteries. It has 21700 cell technology and CoolPack 2.0 technology that manages the heat of the higher power cells and extends the life of the battery. Designed for high-capacity tools such as reciprocating saws, circular saws, grinders and rotary hammers that require high amounts of power for demanding applications. The charger features fast dual-mode charging that fast charges a battery to 80%, while the remaining 20% is in long-life mode. It also has a charging status indicator and a cooling fan to help protect batteries from overheating while charging.
