Sea-Dog Boat Hook Mooring Buoy Snap Kits are designed to assist in attaching a line to a mooring buoy. They come with a stainless steel snap that fits onto the end of a boat hook or other pole with the included keeper (backing) plate. To use, load the snap onto the keeper plate, then catch the snap on the mooring ball and pull. The carabiner will snap shut as it slides free of the pole, securely clipping itself to the mooring eye or cleat. The large size will work on cleats up to 24".
