The Perko Carbon Canister is designed to filter hydrocarbons out of fumes vented during day/night thermal expansion or during refueling of tanks, that are then purged when fresh air is drawn into the tank during thermal contraction or when the engine is running. It has a polymer, heavy wall, elliptical body with welded end caps, adjustable mounting brackets and spring loaded volume compensator compress to reduce internal abrasion.
