The Sea-Dog Chain Gripper Plate is made of investment cast 316 stinless steel. and stabalizes the anchor chain and works to reduce any windlass stress. It can be used with 2 Sea-Dog bow shackles (147212) for bridle applications, connecting lines to port and starboard cleats for stabilization. Fits anchor chain sizes: 5/16", 3/8", 7/16" and 1/2".
