The Garmin GPSMAP 943xsv Chartplotter features a 9" full HD in-plane switching touchscreen display for wider viewing angles, superior clarity, and sunlight readability, even with polarized sunglasses. It is pre-loaded with Garmin Navionics+ coastal charts and inland mapping with Auto Guidance+ technology as well as built-in Ultra High-Definition SideVu and ClearVu scanning sonars. It has ANT technology and built-in Wi-Fi that will pair with the free ActiveCaptain app on a smartphone or tablet for access to OneChart, smart notifications and community data. This unit also has Sailing Polars that will connect to an engine to show RPMs, fuel flow, temperature and other engine information, it also provides at a glance sailing data, GPX waypoints transfer capabilities, Sailassist, simplified SOS calling, Quickdraw Contours and enhanced auto guidance.

The Garmin GMR 18 HD3 Radome provides 4-kW transmit power and clear echo definitions at all ranges. It features dynamic auto gain and dynamic sea filter. This unit has MARPA Target Tracking to track select targets in order to keep track of other vessels and avoid collisions, as well as Dynamic Auto Gain to automatically adjust levels to optimum settings, and Dynamic Sea Filter that automatically adjusts sea clutter for calm, medium and rough sea conditions. It also has dual-radar support that provides redundancy and allows each display unit on the boat to pull data from one or two different radar sources, and timed transmit mode that allows the user to specify transmit time to reduce power consumption.
