The Icom F5061D VHF/UHF Mobile Radio is a multi-mode capable radio designed for public safety, transportation, delivery service and more. It is IDAS 6.25kHz digital mode ready with a UT-126H digital board and narrowband FDMA technology and is compatible with the IDAS conventional and IDAS single-site/multi-site MultiTrunk trunking using the NXDN common air interface. It has Basic LTR/Conventional mode operation for group, selective and phone calls, as well as built-in CTCSS, DTCS, 2-Tone 5-Tone or MDC 1200 to set up talk groups and have the radio in standby/quiet mode when other groups are talking. The built-in 2-tone and 5-tone capabilities allows the user to send a tone code with your call and decode multiple tone codes on a channel. Other features include a dot matrix, multi-function LCD display with upper and lower case characters and one or two line display.
