NES External Thread Repair Tools and Replacement Blades are an ideal option for fixing threaded parts, removing burrs and rust, without completely disassembling a project. The tool can be fit below the damaged threads and worked outwards to complete the repair. These tools are designed to adjust to any diameter and pitch, be used on left and right hand threads, both SAE and metric, and require no pre-measuring. The replacement blades are constructed from high quality hardened tool steel, and are guided by undamaged thread sections to re-groove the damaged section. They also include yellow nylon pads for repairing threads in soft metal.
