The Scepter Military-Style EPA Rated Diesel Jerry Can is designed to be spill-proof and provide full compliance with California's Air Resource Board (CARB) emission and EPA spill and vapor control regulations. The spout is equipped with a twist-lock valve that seals the can and prevents accidental fuel flow. The fuel will flow when the spring-loaded spout is placed in the fuel fill tube and the black prong on the spout is pressed on the edge of the fill tube. The spout also incorporates a separate internal channel to allow air to enter the jerry can as fuel is flowing out to prevent burping.
