Lincoln Electric Outershield 71M Welding Wire is a flux-cored, self-shielded wire that is ideal for barge, ship and bridge building, structrual and machinery fabrication and other offshore applications. It features spray like transfers with minimal spatter, increased rigidity and rod based manufacturing. It can be used with 100% CO2 or 75-82% Argon/CO2 shielding gases and has a Charpy V-notch impact toughness of -40°. It can be used in all welding positions except vertical down and is available in 10 and 25lb spools.
