PESCARO HALIBUT ROD REEL COMBO

Our Spring Halibut Rod & Reel Special Combo features a Pescaro Heavy 6'-6" rod and a Penn Squall 30 Right-Hand Levelwind reel. The rod is made of solid heavy duty fiberglass and is designed for halibut and bottom fishing. It has an EVA foam butt and grip, the guides have a great back bone, and it has a light tip.

The Penn Squall 30 Level Wind Reel has a heavy-duty construction that is designed to handle extreme abuse day-in and day-out, and whether used for bottom-fishing or casting live bait, it will stand up to the hardest fishing conditions. The line capacity rings eliminate the question of how much line is left when fighting a fish. The three lines on the spool flange indicate when there is 1/3, 2/3, or a full spool of line. It has a lightweight graphite frame and sideplates, forged and machined.
