The Makita 5" SJS Angle Grinder is a 10.5 Amp trigger switch tool that features the SJS mechanical clutch system to prevent motor and gear damage. The body has a labyrinth construction design that seals the motor and bearing from dust and debris, as well as a protective zig-zag varnish to seal the armature. Other features include an electric brake, spiral bevel gears, externally accessible bevel gears, no-lock-on switch and an AC/DC slide switch so it can be used with various power sources. The grinder comes with a side handle and a tool-less wheel guard.
