The Goldenrod Replacement Element is for see-through bowl WATER-BLOCK water absorbing fuel tank filter model 496. This element is for use with common fuels including regular and unleaded gasoline, diesel fuel, gasohol, and various fuel oils; related additives including methyl, ethyl, and isopropyl alcohol; and biodiesel blends up to 20%. It removes microscopic particles of contaminants like rust, sand, dirt, scale, and lint as small as 17 microns. The water-absorbing polymers trap water up to approximately one-half cup, restricting fuel flow when it's time to replace the element. Made in the USA.
