The Makita Cordless 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 1/2" Brushless High Torque Impact Wrench has a 3-speed, electronically controlled BL brushless motor that provides 740 ft./lbs. of fastening torque and 1,180 ft/lbs. of breakaway torque. It has a 3-speed power selection switch for precise control and a 1/2" anvil with friction ring for quick socket changes. This tool has built-in dual LED lights for workspace illumination, a rubberized soft grip handle and forward/reverse switch.
Other features include Star Protection Computer Controls to protect against overloading, over-discharging and over-heating and a Rapid Optimum Charger with a built-in fan and batty chip to optimize battery charging. Compatible with any Makita 18V Lithium-Ion battery with a Star symbol. Available in a kit (MAK-XWT08T) or as the tool only (MAK-XWT08Z).
