The Bosch 18V CORE18V Compact Starter Kit features a CORE18V 4.0 Ah performance battery and dual mode charger. The single-layer battery matches the power from a standard 2-layer 4.0 Ah 18V batteries. It has 21700 cell technology and CoolPack 2.0 technology that manages the heat of the higher power cells and extends the life of the battery. The charger features dual-mode charging that fast charges a battery to 80%, while the remaining 20% is in long-life mode. It features charging indicator lights for when the battery is in fast charging or long-life mode and when the battery is full.
