Daiwa BG Spinning Reels feature machined aluminum housing with "Hard Bodyz" body and side covers with a black anodized finish for additional durability, a machined aluminum screw-in handle for control and a dynomic cut aluminum ABS spool. These reels also are equipped with a manual return bail, 6+1 bearings, lightweight air rotor and an ABS spool that features a large core diameter and reversed taper for 100% usable line. The oversized Digigear drive gear system that has increased gear-tooth contact points which provide a smooth action, more power and increased torque.
