The Caframo Pali BilgeSafe Heater is designed for heating bilge/engine compartments by protecting the engine from freeze damage and allowing boating into the cooler months. This heater utilizes energy-efficient, self-regulating PTC heating elements that cannot overheat and meet all requirements for ignition protection. It includes a quick-release mounting plate for easy installation and removal. It utilizes an internal, hermetically-sealed thermostat that turns the heater on at 45°F and off at 65°F.
