Champion Cutting Tools XL28 Jobber Inch Split Drill Bits are used for drilling of high tensile martensitic stainless steels, titanium alloys, and hard steel. These drills have a heavy duty web geometry that provides added rigidity, a three flatted shank design for positive grip in keyless drill chucks, are mechanic length, and split point for self centering and quick penetration. They are made from high speed cobalt steel, are 118°/135°-point, surface treated, with a bright finish, and titanium nitride coated.
