The Smith's 8" DualGrit Combination Sharpening Stone has aluminum oxide grit for sharpening knives, tools and other straight edged blades. One side features extra-coarse 100 grit for dull and damaged blades, and the other has medium 240 grit for final edge honing and smoothing edges.
