The Minn Kota Fortrex Bow-Mount Trolling Motor is a freshwater trolling motor with a tough anodized aluminum mount, Mono-Arm design and 112 pounds of thrust to power through thick weeds and stump fields. It has a Lift-Assist mount design with a stainless steel, nitrogen gas-charged spring to easily stow and deploy the unit. The removable Bowguard 360° Bracket breaks away on impact and automatically resets itself, plus the dual bearing system eliminates noise. This trolling motor also has a Mono-Arm, made of extruded, anodized aluminum with solid one-piece construction that prolongs the life of the motor.

The Fortrex comes with a built-in Dual Spectrum CHIRP Sonar that keeps the transducer and wiring protected in the motor's shaft and provides accurate, detailed returns of fish, structure and bottom details. It is equipped with the Digital Maximizer system, which allows the motor to run up to 5 times longer with a single battery charge by delivering only as much power as the user-selected speed needs. Other features include a Counter-Tension Stabilizer to stabilize the trolling motor, an Illuminated Directional Indicator, Heel-Toe / Cable-Steer Foot Pedal, Weedless Wedge Prop and Push-to-Test battery Meter.
