The Johnson Pump 12V Heavy Duty Bilge Pumps feature liquid cooled, 12-pole motors with double ball bearings with an impeller that is designed to maximize head and flow. The pump body is constructed of thermoplastic with a stainless steel shaft. The 2200 motor is sealed with a mechanical seal design and the 1600 model has a lip seal. The 4000 pump body is robust and constructed of high impact ABS thermoplastic with a stainless steel, mechanically sealed shaft
