Hydropro Neutrally Buoyant Crab Rope with State Tracers is designed specifically for legal use in the West Coast Dungeness fisheries. It is an ideal choice for commercial fishermen that are affected by whale entanglement concerns. It is constructed to have a specific gravity similar to that of water to reduce exposure of the rope to the sea floor while at the same time trying to minimize the risk of the whale entanglement and is an alternative for traditional sinking and floating ropes. It is approximately 40% stronger than polypropylene/polyethylene and has no loss of strength when wet. Sold by the 1200' coil.
Note: For commercial Dungeness crabbing use only. These are state specific rope colors and cannot be used in another state or for recreational use.
