The Bosch 2.3 HP Plunge Base Router features a trigger control system for enhanced control, always on LED light, two-stage quick clamp system for tool free conversion, and a soft-start system to reduce initial torque. The variable speed dial matches the speed to the work piece and task while the constant-response circuitry maintains the selected speed under load. It also features soft grip handles, cord swivel, always-on LED lighting and precision centering design to easily maintain the cutline. The Plunge base model features an afterlock microfine depth adjustment system and precise plunge routing with smooth plunge action, spring lock plunge lever and a depth rod.
