The Makita Portable Band Saw features a 6.5 Amp motor with a large cutting capacity and built-in, high output fluorescent work light. It has a variable speed control dial to match the tool to the application and is designed to cut pipe, Unistrut, all-thread, angle iron and more. This tool has an adjustable stopper plate, dual ball bearing blade guides and a blade tightening lever for quick blade installation. It also has an aluminum frame, protective rubber guard bumpers, hanger hook and a no-lock-on handle that turns the saw off when the trigger is released.
