The Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Reciprocating Saw utilizes an electronically controlled brushless motor and is powered by a fast charging 18V lithium-ion batteries. The saw has an efficient 1-1/4" stroke length, with a crank mechanism that minimizes blade deflection and reduces vibration. It also features an LED light for illuminating the work area, a retractable tool hook, and is designed for a tool-less blade change for quick installation and removal. The tool has rubberized soft grip handles for comfort on the job, and has a reinforced fixed shoe for durability. The trigger is large for a two-finger variable speed trigger. The tool features Extreme Protection Technology for improved dust and water resistance on job sites.
