The ComNav Rudder Angle Indicator is a 3" gauge for reporting the position of the vessels rudder. Compatible with all ComNav autopilots and rudder systems, but this gauge is not a standalone device. The gauge is flush mount with water resistant face and backlighting supplied by 10 to 40 vdc.
Please Note: Many customers believe they need a new rudder angle indicator when it begins to read incorrectly. An erratic gauge is likely a rudder follower issue instead, which can be solved with ComNav part 20330009, a rudder follower rebuild kit. Meanwhile, a Rudder Angle Indicator which never moves from zero could be a pilot issue, a wiring issue, or a gauge issue. Need help troubleshooting?
