Daiwa Saltiga 2-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reels feature a single-piece machined aluminum frame and side plate for that provides corrosion resistance and smooth performance with minimal flex and reduced binding. The spool is also made from solid aluminum that will not deform under heavy drag pressures and will resist outward expansion to accommodate tightly wound braid and monofilament. These reels have DigiGear for maximum smoothness and Advanced Tournament Drag (ATD) system with proprietary grease that helps keep the reel cool. Other features include corrosion resistant ball bearings, stainless steel gears and a soft-touch rubber handle.
