SEASTAR TILT HELM CLASSIC 1.7

The SeaStar Front Mount 1.7 Classic Tilt Helm features a pre-loaded tapered bearing tilt mechanism. It provides no feedback steering for single and multi-outboard engines up to 350HP and 60MPH. This helm is adjustable to five wheel positions and are fitted with position-able O-ring fittings. It also has preloaded dual taper bearings to minimize free play, and shaft seals to prevent water ingress.

This helm has new valve technology for tighter and more responsive steering, while minimizing the protection for chattering when overrunning steering loads. Other features of the -4 helm include improved check valve durability with a more robust design, eliminated flow noise when coming off hard-over position, decreased clicking sound of the lock valve spool during steering reversal, and tighter, more responsive steering for better "regrip" performance.
