STANDARD FRONT MOUNT HELMS

SeaStar Solutions Standard Front Mount Helms are designed to replace existing front mount hydraulic helms in modern high-speed boats equipped with either a single or multiple outboards totaling up to 700 HP. They require a 3" dash cutout and have a 4-7/16" footprint, 3/4" tapered shaft and nut and are available in 1.7 or 2.4 cubic inch displacements.

These helms have new valve technology for tighter and more responsive steering, while minimizing the protection for chattering when overrunning steering loads. Other features of the -4 helm include improved check valve durability with a more robust design, eliminated flow noise when coming off hard-over position, decreased clicking sound of the lock valve spool during steering reversal, and tighter, more responsive steering for better "regrip" performance.
