Forespar Thru-Hull Scoop Strainers are made of precision molded, lightweight high strength Marelon with carbon reinforcement. These high speed strainers have a two piece construction and feature screens that can be epoxied to the hull to eliminate additional holes. Available as a thru-hull/screen combination or the screen only.
Marelon® is a proprietary formulation of polymar composite compounds using composite reinforced polymer and additives to produce a superior marine-grade product. It is ideal for use below the waterline.
