The Makita 1/4" SJS Variable Speed Die Grinder is a 6.6 Amp, slim grip die grinder that features the SJS mechanical clutch system to prevent motor and gear damage. It also is equipped with electronic speed control to maintain constant speed and has a slide-type, lock-on on/off AC/DC so it can be used with various power sources. The body has a labyrinth construction design that seals the motor and bearing from dust and debris, as well as a protective zig-zag varnish to seal the armature and vent slots that direct the exhaust air away from the user.
