The Icom M73 Series produces a loud 700mW audio output, as well as large directional buttons that are easy to use, even while wearing gloves. The radio has an ergonomic shape with comfortable side grips, bright LCD display and one-handed operation. It has a variety of audio functions including Bass Bost, Active Noise Cancellation, BTL (bridge-tied load) amplifier doubles audio output, and "Last Call" voice recording/playback that automatically saves an incoming call for one minute and can also initiate recording manually. Other features include AquaQuake function, dual/tri-watch, favorite channel and tag scanning, 4-level battery indicator, and a Li-ion battery supporting 18 hours of typical operation. The M73 Series is compatible with most M72 handheld accessories.
